Don’t Mess with Texas Trash-Off (Park Road 37 Clean Up)

The Don’t mess with Texas® Trash-Off is the state’s largest cleanup event. Every April, volunteers from all backgrounds—students, businesses, families, and more—come together to clear Texas roadsides of litter.  The Trash-Off is a crucial part of Texas’ contribution to the Great American Cleanup, the nation’s largest community improvement program, and TxDOT’s litter prevention efforts, which include Don’t mess with Texas and Adopt-a-Highway.

Participating in this event shows that even the smallest efforts can have a massive impact on the beauty of Lakehills and our state.  Be a part of something great!  Thank you to ALL for volunteering to help Lakehills Community Center with this much needed and appreciated Community Service Project.  Volunteers are encouraged to post about their experience on social media: #TrashOff2025 and #DontMessWithTexas
